Data collected

Account data (email address), order and delivery data, messages sent through the contact form, early-access and newsletter email addresses, and technical data such as IP address and browser type required to deliver the site.

Purpose and legal basis

Contract fulfilment and pre-contractual communication (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), consent for newsletter, early access and optional cookies (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), and legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Processors

Hosting and database services, the payment provider used at checkout, the shipping carrier fulfilling your order, and the email provider sending order and account messages. Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement.

Retention

Order data is kept for the statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law. Account, newsletter and contact data is deleted once the purpose ends or you withdraw your consent.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, and object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in our case the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
